22411. IIT Delhi startup joins hands with Flag Foundation of India to create advanced textile material for national flag

- 1. IIT Delhi startup Swatric has collaborated with the Flag Foundation of India to develop a top-notch and advanced textile solution for the national flag of the country which will allow Indians to fly the national flag the year around without needing to worry much about wear and tear due to climatic factors.
- 2. An MoU was recently signed between the FITT, IIT Delhi and the Foundation to execute the associated research and development activities via the startup.
- 3. The flag’s materials have to be selected and designed specifically to make it durable for extreme weather conditions without being too heavy.

- 2) इस साल अब तक देश में 15 यूनीकॉर्न सामने आ चुके हैं।यूनिकॉर्न वो स्टार्टअप कंपनियां होती हैं जिनकी वैल्यूएशन 100 करोड़ डॉलर से ज्यादा हो।
- 3) उन्होंने कहा कि कोविड-19 की चुनौतियों के बावजूद, भारत में आर्थिक रिवाइवल के स्पष्ट संकेत दिख रहे हैं। निर्यात बढ़ रहा है और एफडीआई प्रवाह सबसे अधिक है।
- 4) इसी सप्ताह नीति आयोग के सीईओ अमिताभ कांत ने कहा कि डिजिटल प्रोद्योगिकी ने भारत में स्टार्टअप को बढ़ावा देने में काफी मदद की है।

- 1. A sustainable startup, Ricron Panels was started by Rahul Chaudhary to recycle multi-layer plastic into sheets that are fire-retardant, waterproof, termite-proof and heat-resistant
- 2. They are helping address the problem by recycling MLP waste into construction boards that transform into classroom benches, toilets and other construction materials.
- 3. Formed in 2014, the Gujarat-based company today recycles 500 tons of MLPs each day.
- 4. MLP products receive low value, such as Rs 1.5-2 per kilo, and are complex to treat. Rahul says so we decided to address the issue by converting them into recycled boards. It also helps to reduce the burden on the forests as it serves as a viable alternative for plywood.

- 4. लगभग 25 अलग-अलग तकनीकों पर काम कर चुके हैं और कई प्रोजेक्ट्स अभी चल रहे हैं।उनकी टीम में 10 से 12 लोग काम कर रहे हैं।

- 1. As many as 52,732 startups have been benefitted from the department for promotion of industry and internal trade (DPIIT) startup recognition initiative as on July 21, 2021, Parliament was informed on Wednesday.
- 2. 'Startup India' is a flagship initiative of the government which aims at building a strong ecosystem for nurturing innovation and startups in the country.
- 3. A 19-point Startup India Action Plan was launched in January 2016 which paved the way for the introduction of a number of policy initiatives.

- 1. अमित नारंग द्वारा 2018 में स्थापित, चंडीगढ़ स्थित स्टार्टअप पेमार्ट (PayMart) ने कैश निकालने के लिए एटीएम, माइक्रो एटीएम या पीओएस मशीन की आवश्यकता को समाप्त कर दिया है।
- 2. 2018 में सीरियल उद्यमी अमित नारंग द्वारा स्थापित, चंडीगढ़ स्थित स्टार्टअप ने मुंबई, चंडीगढ़, अंबाला, मोहाली, इंदौर, अहमदाबाद और दिल्ली में 50,000 से अधिक व्यापारियों का नेटवर्क बनाया है और भारत के प्रतिष्ठित बैंकों के साथ करार किया है।
- 3. जब कोई ग्राहक अपने मोबाइल बैंकिंग ऐप पर कैश निकासी की रिक्वेस्ट भेजता है, तो बैंक द्वारा एक ओटीपी जनरेट होता है। ग्राहक इस ओटीपी को किसी भी नजदीकी पार्टनर मर्चेंट के पास लेकर जा सकता है।
- 4. फिर वह पार्टनर मर्चेंट उस ओटीपी को अपने मोबाइल में इंस्टॉल पेमार्ट के सॉफ्टवेयर में डालता है और रिक्वेस्ट को प्रोसेस करता है।
- 5. एक बार बैंक द्वारा अप्रूव होने के बाद, वह मर्चेंट ग्राहक को कैश सौंप देता है और पैसे उसके खाते से कट जाते हैं। पेमार्ट प्लेटफॉर्म को बैंक से प्रति कैश निकासी पर शुल्क प्राप्त होता है जिसका 70 प्रतिशत वह व्यापारी के साथ साझा करता है। व्यापारियों को महीने के अंत तक एक समेकित कमीशन प्राप्त होती है (Your Story, 9 August 2021)
